Red face 97 Ram 1500 Power steering bleeder valve?

Hi,
My bf and I changed the power steering pump in his 1500 after the pwr steering went out "all of a sudden" when he was driving. Now the power is back intermittently. This makes me think that the fluid needs to fully circulate for a while (we drove around) or there is air in the line. Is there a bleeder valve on the pwr steering pump? Any advice would be much appreciated!

No bleeder valve. Raise the front of the truck off the ground and rotate the steering all the way to the left and right, check fluid level and repeat process until fluid is at correct level.

And welcome to DF btw.

Just don't turn the wheel too hard left and right when it's at the end of the travel.

Gonna be some wait time in there as well, as the air gets whipped into the fluid. (makes it look all foamy.) So, start engine, crank wheels back and forth a couple times, check fluid. If it still has air in it, shut it down, let it sit for about 30 minutes, repeat.
